Marie Busch, Ozark Pantry writes: POSSUM JAM...this is what started my business 14 years ago. (That's a number that is hard to comprehend). Our POSSUM JAM has jalapenos, garlic, onion, turmeric, ginger but really has a taste all its own. It is marvelous on hot buttered cornbread. Stir into any type of beans, as a side with meats and mashed potatoes, right out of the jar.
2 things about this batch. FIRST, I mixed it up a bit and added brown sugar along with the white and also mixed in some cayenne pepper. SECOND, it is a very short batch. There seems to be a shortage of jalapenos around town and this is all I could scrounge up. See you at Beanfest. 4 jars only. Oct. 23-24, 2026. Hours are 11 to 6 Friday and 9 to 4 Saturday behind the picket fence.

Ozark Pantry's Marie Busch writes: NAUGHTY BUT NICE...Apricot Habanero
Much more naughty than nice. This is apricots, red bell pepper, red onion, yellow habs from The Pepper Gent at the local farmers market. He also dries and makes salts. At his recommendation I tried this yellow habanero salt which he said was his mildest and he thought most flavorful.....help! Need water, STAT!
This jam needs to be either a glaze for smoked or barbequed meats or cream cheese bound. Isn't she purty?????? 12 jars.

Tom and Sage Holland, Glass Beadmaker and Educator return to Bean Fest and Championship Outhouse Races and Artisans Market in their usual spot behind the picket fence on the grass. Each piece with multiple colors melted together using the torch, fired in an electric kiln, and then selected and strung. Hours of the Market Friday 11 to 6 and Saturday 9 to 4. Mountain View is in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, and such a beautiful season to travel to Stone County!
