Small fix, big difference.

This hollow core door had a hole that didn’t go all the way through, which made it a great candidate for a clean repair instead of replacement. I filled it with wood epoxy, let it fully cure, then leveled it out.

Once smooth, I sanded through the grits (180 → 220 → 320) to blend everything seamlessly into the surrounding surface.

Since this door had a factory sprayed finish and I was brushing on paint, I lightly thinned the paint with water to help it lay down smoother and mimic that sprayed look.

Sometimes it’s not about starting over—it’s about knowing how to make it disappear.
