It’s that time of year for new freshies!

Let’s talk about teachers. If you know me personally you know how Gentry going into 1st grade made me a total wreck. Kindergarten was a tough year for all of us. I remember dropping off school supplies in Mrs. Rawles class and I sat down in Gentry chair and started crying. Yes crying in a class of 1st graders and their parents. I was overwhelmed with anxiety for Gentry to go through the same thing she did the year before. Mrs. Rawles came over and asked if everything was okay. I explained all of my concerns and asked she take extra care of my girl. I knew I struggled in school and did not what that for smalls. She was so understanding and comforting. This year has been one of the best experiences I have had with a teacher. (Including my own experience.) Mrs. Rawles has gone above and beyond for our child. Gentry wanted to make her two name tags to show how much we love her. Here’s to the teachers who make learning fun and support our children. Here’s to Mrs. Rawles. 💜
