You know what they say. "You eat an elephant one bite at a time". Giving a makeover to my living room lamps is a tiny bite out of the plethora of projects that I have to do. I've always loved these lamps but the brushed nickel just didn't work anymore. So, I bought a $7 can of Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint and two new lampshades (50% off at Hobby Lobby). For less than $50 I have two new lamps!

Today's project. I took an old antique vanity and broke it down and I'm making two small night stands. Our new bedroom will be small, so I've been looking for something narrow to put beside the bed. I forgot to take picture before I took it all apart (I got a little excited and completely forgot!).
