We’ve had a few of these open up in Tennessee, but wait times have been insane - so insane that there’s a dedicated website to track them! When we saw a 15 minute wait, we went for it, and, wow. I get the hype!

The experience, the food, the value. All around great first impression, and we’ll definitely be back!

Friday morning I watched proudly from the car as my son led friends and classmates in prayer for our nation in front of his school.

I watched as a courageous group of students stepped up and sought the Lord in the middle of this broken world. They truly represented 1 Timothy 4:12:

“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

I’m praying now that we that are a little further down the road will continue to encourage and strengthen our younger brothers and sisters, calling them out to exercise the gifts and strengths God has given them.

Not my normal food content, but I just found out that an app I submitted to the App Store got approved and can be downloaded worldwide🎉

It started out as an idea for an internal hackathon project for work, and was pretty much fully developed using AI - from the logo all the way to the code.

The idea came from recently starting a reading club with my older kids, where we read a chapter or two of a book then discuss over coffee or dessert. It’s been a great way to get more 1:1 time with them while also reading - which is not exactly the most pressing thing in a teenager’s life.

I thought it would be a great project to build a family library together online, keeping record of our thoughts and progress along the way. I even added a couple of gamification elements like overall chapters read, a reading streak, and a way for me to add custom accomplishments tailored to my family.
