I'm thankful to do what I love while staying home with my children. I'm a wife and a mom to two awesome little boys. I love building and creating home decor from scratch. These workshops have been so fun and such a great creative outlet for us women! How this works:
1. I will pick up your wood and materials prior to the event for you, no scavenger hunts at Lowes and Home Depot!
2. I will charge a
flat fee for each project that will basically cover your materials: gloves, eye protection, masks, wood (that we will cut the night before), nails, screws, stain brushes, paint brushes, wood glue, wood filler, paints/stains, polyurethane, electricity, sandpaper, tool usage, etc. This will ensure that all of you have every resource needed to successfully complete your project. This fee will obviously change each month depending on the project we chose. I will ask everyone to confirm and pay the material fee via VENMO app or FACEBOOK MESSENGER by the Sunday before the event.
3. Due to the increased liability exposure, we have decided to have liability waivers on file just in case someone were to suffer from an injury, especially with a growing number of attendees. I feel very confident in our safety precautions, but anything can happen as some of us are not as experienced as others with using power tools.
4. Wood and Wine will continue to take place once a month on Wednesday but I will also be available on agreed on days following the event because these projects will take a little longer. We can work with schedules.
