Adjustments can make or break an install 👀 If we mounted this flush to the posts… this blind would’ve failed on day one. 😮💨👇
This is our Level 2 Outdoor Zip Track Blind going onto an Alumawood pergola with a heavy slant — and this is where most installs go wrong.
When a patio isn’t perfectly square, you don’t follow the posts. You level the cassette.
Yes, that means leaving a gap at the top.
Yes, that’s the correct way to do it.
Here’s how we made it perfect:
✔️ Leveled the top bar to prevent fabric tracking issues
✔️ Self-tapped directly into the Alumawood structure
✔️ Installed reinforced zip tracks for wind resistance
✔️ Fine-tuned the cassette clearance for smooth operation
✔️ Silicone-lubed + flushed tracks for zero snagging
✔️ Full protective film removal + final polish
Finished in a 1% Omega fabric — maximum glare control while still keeping that clean outward view.
Most people think smaller is easier.
Truth? Full-height is cleaner, stronger, and easier to install properly.
This is what a dialed-in patio upgrade looks like.
More real installs coming soon — follow if you care about doing it right. 💪
