 ✨ DESIGNER TIP: Don’t rush the finish line.

The end of a project is often when decision fatigue kicks in. You’re tired, you’re ready to be DONE, and suddenly those last few details can feel like things you just need to check off the list.

But those details matter. A lot.

When I feel myself rushing a decision, I literally take a deep breath and purposefully slow myself down. Because the hardware, the paint color, the light fixture, the styling—those final choices are often what take a space from finished to beautifully finished.

You’ve made it this far. Don’t get lazy at the finish line. 🤍

Great design is in the details. Finish strong.

POP QUIZ! ✏️ Do you know the difference between board & batten and wainscoting?

Here’s the cheat sheet: Wainscoting is decorative wall paneling that typically covers the lower portion of a wall, while board & batten is a specific style of paneling created with vertical battens over boards.

For this space, we used wainscoting, gave it a fresh coat of paint, and topped it all off with a gorgeous new chandelier. ✨

Sometimes the best transformations aren’t about adding more—they’re about adding the right details. 🤌✨

Presentation Day! One of my favorite parts of what I do. 🤍

Today we presented the design for a family who is remodeling their home—floor plans on the big screen, samples across the table, and all those ideas and decisions finally coming together.

There’s something so special about watching clients see the vision for their new home for the very first time. Suddenly, it all feels real—and their excitement makes me excited all over again.

This is the part I never get tired of. ✨

A powder bath deserves to be a little overdressed. ✨
New sconces + a statement overhead light took this space from pretty to polished. Sophisticated, timeless, and just the right amount of drama.
