Happy Sunday!
I realized this morning that I have taken very few pictures of my pies. I think that is because, well, l seem to be always busy MAKING pies🤗😍 (which I absolutely love to do). So, here is a little glimpse of these special, yummy treats!
Oma's is open from 12 -3. The pies are FRESH, the coffee is hot, the merchandise is lovely, and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Life is funny, AND weird, AND messy sometimes. Thank God for the people we get to link arms with through it all❤️

Oma's will be open this Saturday, 9-5, and Sunday 12-3. Stop by and say hi! We are working on some new bakery items for the kiddos! And don't forget about the flowers and plants at the greenhouse, adorable farm animals, and overall cuteness❤️

It's Mother's Day weekend! Here is a glimpse into my own motherhood journey with some of my favorite pics!
It seems Mother's Day can bring out both the best and the most difficult feelings.
Yes, we have much to be grateful for!
But, here is the truth of our human existence that may be less than warm and happy...

Empty nesters.. desperately missing the days with their little ones❤️

Those grieving the loss of a loved one❤️

Infertility❤️

Unfulfilled expectations❤️

Tired Mommies of little ones trying to do it all, wondering why they are not exactly enjoying this journey❤️

And the list goes on.

God, keep us aware of those whose hearts may be a bit heavy this weekend.
And thank you for Mamas and those like a Mama to us!!!

Oma's will be open this weekend. We will have special gifts for the moms in your life. Or just come by and get your free cup of coffee, meander around the lush Wagenmaker Greenhouses, look at the cute bunnies, chickens, and ducks, and give your heart a rest❤️

Sometimes, you need to go back before you move forward. When were the times in life that made the most sense to you? The moments that brought you the most effortless peace and joy?
For me, it was way back when life was a bit simpler. When my days were filled with my 8 rowdy, hilarious, joy giving children. Feeding my growing family on a budget was a conquest, a challenge, and an adventure. I learned how to stretch a dollar well. And that usually involved cooking/baking from scratch.
So, welcome to my next grand adventure!
