☀️ Well hello! ☀️

This teacup was my very first marble creation, second attempt at attaching a handle, and my third attempt at throwing off the hump.

The clay’s original sandy color was stained a deep brown and coils were pressed into a large mound of clay, often referred to as a hump.
Paired with the lovey marbling is my favorite glaze— River Birch.
This teacup, a mere 4 fl oz, was the first piece I had created and truly enjoyed the outcome. I felt as if I had unlocked the next level of my pottery journey.

This cup was one of the many that was created from experimenting with a rib from Garrity Tools. Paired with Amaco Textured Amber Brown and Arctic Blue on the rim, you get a lovey combination that allows you to see the clay’s underlying texture. Comfortably holding 14 fl oz, it is ready to be filled with your drink of choice!

Thank you to everyone that stopped by my stand at Arts & Drafts Festival 2024!! This was my first time being a vendor and I must say, we had a great time meeting so many new faces.

Available for purchase today at Arts and Darfts Festival booth # 151 from 10am to 5pm!

🌅 This mug showcases a lovely organic marble on the exterior, paired with an interior glaze combination that never comes out quite as I hope. As is the reality with glaze, try as you might, it can be unpredictable.

🌅 This piece was meant to portray the creation process by exhibiting the natural beauty from two clays blended together, and a fiery interior to signify the heat that blazes around it.

Dazed Ceramics is a new female owned business that features slowly made, one-off pieces.

🌅 Each ball of clay is transformed and taken from earth to art with intention and care until they find a way into your waiting hands.
🌅 Many of these pieces are meant to be functional, yet pleasing to create and admire.
🌅 The process of creating these pieces can be a roller coaster of unexpected happenings. Keep an open mind and you can find beauty in the mishaps!
