Lisa Ames Custom Pyrography My specialty is hand burned custom orders. I take great pride in what I am building as a business I love what I do and love challenging myself to do new things.

I love the work that goes into doing a burn by hand from a picture. I have no problem with using a laser to do work if that is what you prefer or even vinyl on the wood, but custom work is my forte and what I take the most joy in doing. I do not do the burns with the torch or the battery through the veins of the wood. Please check out my pictures and don't be afraid to ask questions! Saw the funniest thing in a pyrography group! They were discussing how to compete price wise with people that use a laser so can make things faster and cheaper than those of us that do our burns by hand. A lady said she has a sign in her booth at craft fairs that says "Is it really art if all you did was push start?" Lol best response ever! Yes my hand done work cost more because it takes more effort, time, and actual talent unlike a machine. In my opinion, anything done by hand is worth more!
