Every spring, vistas of grazing sheep can be seen in the vineyards throughout Napa Valley. Vineyard managers hire the herds to chew down mustard grass and other cover crops planted in winter to reinvigorate the soil, along

with any other weeds growing between vineyard rows. A herd can clear 5-10 acres in a day. Visitors coming to Napa often pull over and take pictures of the sheep grazing among the vines, with postcard views of the valley in the background. It's a scene that every local admires equally. There is something serene seeing them make their way through the bucolic vineyards and hillsides. To us, it represents a simpler, tranquil, rustic, but authentic lifestyle found here in Napa. We'd like our business, and the unique goods we offer, to reflect that same character.
