The spaces we create have the immense power to guide us back to ourselves.

Sanctuary has always been about more than the spaces around us. While working on my book, I’ve been exploring the “inner citadel” we each can cultivate within ourselves: A place rooted in knowing who we are and finding steadiness when life feels uncertain.

There’s something so profound in how a plant must be connected to the earth to survive.
Orchids have been apart of Sanctuary’s journey for years. Purifying the air and brightening up the room, they invite us to care. To be present, to notice & to engage. It turns our homes into places for connecting with one another on a deeper level. 🌷🤍

When I’m asked where I find inspiration, the answer is almost always the same: outside.

Blues of the sky and ocean, rich greens, the warmth of sand and weathered wood. These are a few of the elements that have always made me feel at ease. This palette, including a few of my favorite Sherwin-Williams colors, is inspired by earth’s elements and the beauty that surrounds us every day. Bringing those colors indoors helps blur the line between inside and out, creating spaces that feel calm, and most importantly, help us reconnect with the healing power of the natural world. Which is what Sanctuary is really all about. 🌱

We have long believed that our homes have the power to care for us. That peace around inspires peace within, and that the spaces we inhabit quietly shape the way we experience the world.

Now, it’s inspiring to see wellness becoming an essential part of the design conversation. Beauty will always matter, but true design goes beyond what we see. It can lower stress, encourage meaningful rituals, strengthen our connection to nature, and support a healthier, more intentional way of living.

Thank you to Healthy Life and Gulfshore Life for shining a light on this conversation. We are honored to be part of a movement that sees design not simply as decoration, but as a powerful tool for creating lives filled with greater peace, balance, and sanctuary 🤍
