A little history behind two timeless pieces.

An Italian mirror dating to around 1800, with the craftsmanship and character of a time when mirrors were made by hand and considered true works of art.

Paired with a 1920s, complete with its original painted finish and marble top. Nearly a century of age has left behind a beautiful, naturally worn patina.

Different eras, timeless character- and the kind of details that simply can’t be replicated today.

I’m Victoria, and I run the social media for Huot’s Lighting and Interiors and Huot’s Flooring.
I’m an enthusiast for anything creative, especially this job! It truly has such a special place in my heart.

The timeless interior design m a r l a l o p e z instills, paired with the beautiful detailing Huot’s Flooring and Lighting brings, is breathtaking- and it’s my job to bring some well-deserved attention to it!

There’s something so special about a well-designed walk-in pantry. Through the kitchen, this space gives us ample open shelving for beautiful, functional storage- while creating the perfect separation from the main kitchen.

Our cabinet guy did an incredible job with every detail, and we were able to bring in artwork from our store to give the space a finishing touch.

We wanted to take this room from ordinary to something that truly stands out- and wallpaper was the perfect way to do it.

In this office, the wallpaper highlights the built-in shelves and draws your eye to the back of the room, where layered textiles, colorful furniture, and rows of books add character and warmth. We kept the rest of the space simple, introducing just one other pattern in a classic buffalo check, allowing the wallpaper to do the talking.

There’s something about a room filled with natural light that just feels right.

For this bedroom, we wanted to keep things soft, open, and inviting, starting with a gentle color palette and letting the windows bring in plenty of light.
The bed became our starting point and the main statement of the room, with a custom upholstered headboard setting the tone. From there, we worked with one of our favorite fabric company to create custom linen pillows for a pop of color.
Soft lighting overheads keeps the room feeling open and light, while simple art work along the wall finishes the space without making it feel overdone.
