Country Boy Salvage brings you vintage and loved items from days gone by. From old wagon wheels to antique liquor bottles to repurposed and re loved furniture and junk picked up here and there. Find our junk at shows through out Iowa and our barn sales on our farm outside of Nashua , Iowa. We are open by chance or appointment and as always if you see anything on here that you are interested in, don't hesitate to message us .

Life in the Tiny House -Halloween Edition- Volume 2
The cubbie shelf .
Before spooky season started the bench was full of plants . Luckily the tiny house has great windows to make plants happy . Ron hasn’t even complained about the jungle in our bedroom 🌿
The cubbie part of the piece holds my Gurley collection ceramics , and a few odds and ends . I love how Gurley candles and ceramics used the same ( or similar ) molds .
Sister and I each made a ceramic Halloween tree one year at a paint your own pottery place .
And of course , my table top blow molds .

Life in the Tiny House -Outside Edition
Our tiny house ( yes , it’s under 900 square feet) was built in 1950 . A small 2 bedroom ( not any more ) , one bath . Just right for 2 old people like us .
My gardens were the first thing moved from the farm . The raised beds , filled with the black gold ( compost ) from the farm for the last time 😞
The zinnias are still looking fabulous. Covered with bees and butterflies every day .
One of my favorite “ heads “ this year , planted with oxalis.
My hibiscus was given to me by a friend from her garden a couple years ago . I wasn’t sure if they would survive the transplant , our soil here is not nearly as rich as the farm , but they did ! They are both still giving multiple blooms a day and we are well into October . ❤️🌺
My little “goth garden “ . Black ( really , really dark purple ) flowers and foliage . The perfect place for moon man ( he has made so many moves with me ) and my witch weather vane .
Life in the tiny house has been an adventure 🏡

Life in the Tiny House - Halloween Edition.
I knew it would be a challenge decorating the tiny house for holidays so I put the most important up first .
Halloweentown started going up the end of September, it always takes me awhile to figure out the cords .
Anyhoo , turns out the barn cupboard ( that I couldn’t part with during the move ) is perfect ! The mouse holes and old cracked boards made running the cords to an outlet so much easier 🙌🏻
I don’t have room in the tiny house for my pumpkin pail tree😭 so I just put out my favorites. Not sure what I’m going to do with the other totes of them 🤔
I’ll be sharing my other Halloween displays in the coming days . Cause the Tiny House is decked out ! 🎃

It’s always a little manic when Kathy’s Vintage Finds isn’t here to keep me on track 😬 but please join Christine Christine Moczynski in about an hour for Midwest Monday .
I think I’m going to show some vintage Christmas this week . I seem to have an over abundance of that 🎄
