SOME of us are still in London - driving on the left and using the loo, etc etc -so if you notice a pronounced British accent, well, there’s your answer.

Good morning from Austenland! Since we are fairly certain that the Venn diagram that covers yarn-lovers and Austen-ites is basically just a big circle, we thought we’d report in from Bath, to which we’ve removed ourselves from London for a day or two of relative peace and quiet. You can’t throw a teacup here without hitting some Austenalia! Or a Roman bath! Also: yarn shops! It’s an early morning stroll so they’re closed (thank Darcy, because our suitcases are FULL), but our faces were pressed against the glass nonetheless. Cheerio and all that!

One of Haus’ worker bees here, reporting in from London. THE ONE IN IN ENGLAND. In the queue for a Vincent Lima show with Haus of Yarn customer Anna Hamilton ( .ham.sandwich - surely the best IG handle in existence and I really cannot BELIEVE those Hamilton musical ppl didn’t get it first) opening for Vincent Lima.

She’s VERY MUCH our thing (he is too, actually), so if you were not lucky enough to traipse off to London to see her, look for her EP “Collarbones,” which is out in the world and available in all the ways people get things, we think. Maybe not 8-track. But maybe! We dunno!

Anyway! That’s it from your roving HoY reporter. “Roving” in the moving around way, not the fiber way. I’ll clock out now. (Wait, does this mean I can write this trip off? Off to investigate!). We’ve had three espressos.
