Our Clearview project begins telling its story before you ever cross the threshold. Tudor architecture, slate roofing, leaded glass, stone, brick, and an arched front door establish a sense of history outside, and inside, that story only becomes richer.

August rarely gave us much time to stand still. We’ve been watching lighting go in at our West Meade project, getting started on a couple of new Belle Meade Boulevard projects, and turning our attention to another Westview project.

Roger also squeezed in a trip to North Carolina to spend time with some lovely industry peers! And to close the month out, one especially exciting milestone was seeing our Clearview project in Architectural Digest!

We couldn’t be more grateful for this wonderful month! 🤎

Our Clearview project has been featured in Architectural Digest! 🤎

The century-old Nashville home was a true labor of love- two years spent thoughtfully restoring, preserving, and adding to a house already rich with history. Original details were honored, new layers were introduced with intention, and throughout it all, we wanted the home to feel as though its story had simply continued.

We’re incredibly grateful to our clients for entrusting us with such a special home, to Architectural Digest for sharing its story, and to every craftsperson, maker, artist, and project partner who helped bring this chapter of the home to life. Read the full feature at the link in our bio now.

In our Yellowstone project, we chose pieces that do the practical work of keeping things tucked away while still bringing something meaningful to the room. Interesting silhouettes, beautiful wood grain, unexpected finishes- all proof that function doesn’t have to fade into the background.

At Blackberry Farm, there’s no shortage of places that make a convincing case for staying awhile. A sofa tucked beneath the windows, a pair of wingbacks by the fire, a quiet sitting room under the rafters, each one was considered for a moment of pause.

A kitchen can be mostly white and still have plenty to say. At Murry Lane, we brought in contrast through the dark wood island, graphic upholstery, antique lanterns, and touches of warm brass. Each element has its own personality, but together they keep this hardworking room from ever feeling too precious.

What do our favorite home bars have in common? They never feel like an afterthought. We treat them as an opportunity to introduce a material, color, or detail that might not appear anywhere else in the home.
