Eyes on You” confronts the psychological weight of existing in a hyper-visible world where attention has become addiction and relevance feels fleeting. The oversized eyes dominate the composition like digital surveillance — watching, consuming, judging — while vibrant layers of color mirror the chaos and overstimulation of social media culture. Beneath the playful abstraction lies an unsettling truth: the endless pursuit of followers, validation, engagement, and visibility in a society where self-worth is increasingly measured by clicks and reactions. The work reflects both the hunger to be seen and the emotional exhaustion that comes from constantly performing for an audience in a maddeningly connected world

Rhapsody in Yellow is a bold and expressive series inspired by the music that fuels my creative process and the emotional energy color can evoke. Utilizing the brightness of yellow, layered texture, and a primary palette, these works explore joy, movement, and the rhythm of life itself. Music has the power to transport us emotionally, and this collection reflects those moments of transcendence, energy, and pure feeling. For me, this palette represents optimism, vitality, and the beauty of being fully present in the creative moment.

Storm Approaching the City

Acrylic on canvas 24” x 48”

A restless sky gathers above a city that refuses to dim. Each building stands like a voice—distinct, imperfect, alive—holding its ground as the storm rolls in. The tension between the darkening blue above and the vibrant pulse below captures that fragile moment before impact, where uncertainty meets resilience.

In this piece, the city becomes a reflection of us—layered, colorful, and steadfast—weathering what comes, illuminated not in spite of the storm, but because of it.

Nothing like working in layers to create a masterpiece -not for anyone in particular at all because it’s just necessary to create. Creating to feel and creating to heal. Just simply create and get in the groove. I have a title but is is still a work in progress. Listening to a jazzy rendition of the Rolling Stones album while enjoying my day off with some vino and the company of my beautiful furbabies. Simple. Therapeutic.

Close Your Eyes and Listen

A visual echo of sound, this piece invites the viewer to step away from sight and into sensation. Bold circular forms pulse like speakers or heartbeats, radiating energy through layers of texture, color, and movement. Vibrant reds, electric blues, and fractured neutrals collide—mirroring the chaos and harmony found in music and in life.

There is a rhythm beneath the surface, something felt more than seen. Like a song that reaches you before you understand it, this painting asks you to trust your instinct—close your eyes, and listen.
