I’ve just returned from High Point Market where everyone is buzzing about the “return of traditional.” That is music to my ears, and here’s the first time my work was published in Traditional Home magazine in honor of a design legend, Charles Faudree. Occasionally ART is the driver; as with this project for long time clients who have an extensive collection of art that we’ve used in their home. It provides me with such a wonderful jumping off point and has created homes that feel deeply personal to them!

Throwing it back to the rooms I’ve had the honor to decorate in the Cashiers Designer Showhouse which kicks off this weekend… This showhouse featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles is always such a celebration of southeastern design and has brought friendships with many colleagues who I enjoy knowing and the opportunity to invest in a community we love. Congratulations to all who are participating this year; I am celebrating your talents on display.

Simple and serene… this primary suite is about decorating that creates calm and relaxation. Thinking about this project today because it is an honor when clients’ children reach out and want me to create in their home the same as I was able to do for their parents. Twice recently but I’m not going to think about how old that makes me.
