Join us for the The Ugly Pot Throw Festival on Saturday, October 19 from 10:30-4:00 on The Clay Lady's Campus! This festival is a free, community event inspired by the ugly pot: the fallen, broken, mis-glazed, wonky, pots “give their life to teach you how to make the next pot better”! We must honor those ugly pots as teachers and guides on our journey. As we throw them against the wall we exclaim, “I’m going to make the next one better!”

We'll also have VIP tickets, a TN Pottery Market with plenty of potters from across Tennessee selling their work, an Ugly Pot Throw Down competition, food, adoptable dogs, music, and more!

With a suggested donation of $25, there will be over 300 mugs and cups to choose from, made by artists, students, and customers from The Clay Lady’s Campus as well as potters from across the state, and all benefitting Borderless Arts! We will also unload the Gas Kiln at 9:00, have goodies to go with your coffee or hot tea, an opportunity to meet The CL Campus Artists, games, puzzles and more!
