I often forget to post things here from IG. Two weeks ago I had to say goodbye to my sweet Prissy, one week before her 16th birthday.

This is a picture from the day I got her. We’ve been through a lot together these past 16 years and I miss her so much it hurts. Please be patient with me while I grieve and figured out life without her. 💕

PrissyEm is 3 today 🎂 🍾 🎉

Usually, I’d do some sort of ridiculous celebration and giveaway... but I’m just sad.

I miss having to open the door to the Bitch Barn 50 times a day for Prissy because she wouldn’t use the doggy door.

I miss trying to sneak out of the BB to get something from the house so I wouldn’t wake her.

I miss her being in my way while I was working and having to cut resin out of her hair.

These past three years with PrissyEm have been so great, and I’m starting to believe that the universe gave me this to help Prissy live on. I appreciate every order, like, share, and I treasure the friendships I’ve made with y’all through IG. Y’all are some incredible humans!

I have lots do you before the first launch of my new collection with handmade ballz, and I’m going to give myself some grace and time to grieve. I don’t know how long this will take, but please be patient with me. It’ll be worth the wait. 💕

Happy 3 years, PrissyEm. I can’t wait to see where we are next year. 🥂

This is where it all began. ✨

In 2017, I wanted a gorgeous tree that was like a disco ball. It brought me so much joy that after the holidays I started thinking of ways I could have disco balls around me at all times.

I think I succeeded. 😋

I never have time to even put up a tree now {last year I got a prelit pink tree, never decorated it and didn’t take it down until like March 😬 + I got a prelit cactus tree this year and it’s still in the box 😬}.

I’m not complaining, though. This tree is a wonderful memory for me and PrissyEm brings me so much joy and fulfillment {+ my mom is a Christmas psycho and I’ll be drinking eggnog by her tree soon enough}.

Now, find that pickle. 😛

gosh, i don't even have words to describe how grateful, loved, and supported i feel after this insane weekend. prissyem has been a weird {the good kind} and crazy part of my life for almost three years and i'm honestly kind of speechless. each purchase helps me continue on this weird and crazy ride, and i appreciate you all more than you'll ever know. 💕

I hope y’all are able to celebrate what you’re thankful for, even if you’re not able to be with family. 💕
I’m so very thankful for all of you, my Bitch Barn, my pups, my family, my frands, glitter, champagne, disco balls, my home, and the hot pink pimp coat that I’ll be wearing while frying the turkey tomorrow.

🤔 Where are the punch bowls and other 12” items to purchase?!

Well, I am getting ready to launch new HANDMADE disco balls! Our products will soon be 100% handmade in East Nashville by two badass female owned businesses. 💁🏻‍♀️ 👊🏻 I’m so very proud of this transition and the quality of products I’ll be able to offer.

Huge shoutout to for mirroring our ballz. 🥳

🤔 Why do hand mirroring?

Imported disco balls are inexpensive and with that comes a lower quality product. This year I have had so many issues with chipped mirrors and crooked mirroring. If a ball is messed up there’s nothing I can do...other than create Bitchin’ Uglies out of them. 😉

Now I will be able to offer a high quality product without feeling guilty about how the ballz are made and worrying about how they look.

🤔 Will the prices go up?

Yes. I’ve struggled with the idea of having to increase prices but I am so very proud to be able to offer these products and the integrity behind them, so I decided to make the switch.

Holly Dolly Pre-Ordering 🎄🌟
Ugh, I know. I’m not ready either..😬
Running a small biz, especially during the holidays, makes you realize that if things can go wrong- they will. Shipping nightmares, lost packages, out of stock inventory, etc.
I have mild PTSD from all of the packages that were lost by our lovely USPS last year and the thousands(!) of dollars I lost by having to fix their mistakes. I digress.
Anywho, I’m rambling on to tell y’all to get those orders in early. The cutoff date for orders is December 1st.
I’m changing things up this year!

1. I am pre-making items that will start shipping the first week of December. (limited selection and colors)

2. I’m shipping via UPS {I know, I know, but I gotta do what’s best for my biz + y’all}

3. Other options and customizations will still be offered but orders will be cutoff December 6 {rush fee available for disco ball emergencies}

4. Small Biz Sat/Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals will be available for purchase through the website {not IG like in the past}. Get on the mailing list to be the first to know what I’m doing each day. Very limited quantities will be available

Disco Fever

PrissyEm started disco ballin' in 2018 after I set out to accomplish a goal of transforming my Christmas tree into a giant disco ball. The sparkle and joy that was created deserves to be celebrated throughout the year and not just holidays. Through this passion and continuous love for creating party and bar supplies, transforming a standard disco ball into something unique was a match made in disco heaven.

PrissyEm is happiness that has come to fruition. You cannot help but feel the funk (the good kind), when you see our disco balls in all their glory. We put a fun, modern spin on a party classic that everyone will enjoy, and it doesn't just stop there! We are hard at work coming up with so many other great disco ball products that we think are pretty rad, so make sure to follow us.

We are currently offering 4", 8" and 12" disco ball planters and vases, as well as 12" disco ball ice buckets (or “Disco Queens” as we like to call them!), punch bowls, and even dog bowls! Each Disco Queen is custom painted (or glittered!) on the inside and sealed to strengthen with a food save epoxy resin.

We hope you dig our girls as much as we do!
