A client came to me wanting to create the perfect little space in their 12-year-old’s room — a cozy reading nook that doubles as a sleepover spot for his two best friends. Pretty heartwarming little project, and honestly? I’m kind of jealous!

Authentic mid-century teak dining set, still wearing its original Made in Denmark tags. Every chair has been fully reupholstered with all-new padding in a dusty evergreen Crypton-coated performance fabric — built to repel stains and liquids so it actually holds up in a real dining room.

Adrian Pearsall Grand Boomerang sofa for Craft Associates. Reupholstered in a luxurious olive green velvet by , S2353 Moss.

This was the most difficult project I’ve completed! You never know what you’re going to find after tear down, especially when it’s Adrian Pearsall- since most break down into multiple pieces. My woodworking skills were tested but I managed to repair a cracked frame and get this sofa back together again, despite many stripped screws + too many obstacles to count.

Lots of brainstorming and reworking with the help of who commissioned / is selling the piece. We both were super committed to its restoration and I’m proud of our work! Swipe for all of our cute photos 😊
