✨LIFE UPDATE ✨

After taking some time off from social media, I am very excited to be back and to share the arrival of our newest little! He is an absolute dream and his big brother’s whole world!

I am exceptionally grateful for a community of clients that not only allow me to continue creating for them at a slower pace but have also embraced our newest assistant tagging along to meetings! I have some really incredible projects in the works that I can’t wait to start sharing soon.

If you have been here from the beginning, My Little Modern Cabin now has chickens! We continue to grow our flock and loving every minute of it!!

And last but definitely not least, I am over the moon to announce the start of a new company .homes that I co-founded with a crazy talented and long time friend of mine . We recently broke ground on our first design/build/sell property and we can’t wait to take you along!

If custom cabinetry is in your budget during a kitchen build or remodel, think outside of the box! Now is the time to plan for things like appliance garages or statement shelving. This kitchen renovation from last year is one of my favorite examples of how to make cabinetry completely your own. The extended shelving across the range and built-in backlit glass and steel door hutch are unique to this home and fit with the modern European vibes that carry throughout the house.

You don't have to decorate with overtly "fall" items to get that cozy, autumn feel. Neutral items in creams, browns, and blacks give the same feeling just with their coloring, without needing to purchase new items every season.

Looking for an easy way to add more storage for your drop zone? Use hooks! They are cost-effective and super functional for bags and coats, but add interest to an otherwise blank wall when not in use.

Just taking another moment to swoon over this one-of-a-kind wine cellar...These acrylic rods were custom-designed and made with special lighting to make each bottle glow. It took several iterations to get them just right, but the details are what make it truly special.
