This bathroom went from heavy granite and cool blue walls to a dramatic, high-contrast retreat layered in black, ivory, and sculptural florals. The new wallpaper becomes art, wrapping the space in movement and depth, while the crisp quartz countertop and rich cabinetry ground it in modern sophistication.

The Bathroom: Sculptural Warmth & Graphic Drama

The focal point is a freestanding copper soaking tub — burnished, reflective, alive with patina. It doesn’t just sit in the room; it anchors it. The curved silhouette softens the strong geometry around it, while the metallic finish introduces warmth that feels ancient and modern at once.

Behind it, a bold geometric tile wall in rhythmic arcs and interlocking curves adds graphic movement. The pattern feels almost Art Deco–meets–tribal, bringing visual energy without straying from the earthy palette. It’s rare earth in the truest sense — colors pulled from mineral deposits, desert landscapes, oxidized metals, and layered sediment.
