Hi! I’m Chelsey 👋🏼

It’s been a while since I have introduced myself on here or talked about my design process, so, here we go…

Design, to me, is so much more than just making things look pretty.

When I walk into your home, I’m thinking about flow, energy, and how the space actually feels to live in.

I’m looking at your style, your preferences, and how we can blend everything together in a way that feels natural, cohesive, and true to you.

I believe your home should inspire you in your everyday life, not feel staged or overdone.

It’s a collaborative, evolving process that shifts with your lifestyle, your taste, and your budget.

I have multiple service options that allow me to be able to work with clients of all different kinds (locations, scope and budget). Whether you need help pulling together a singular room or you need a full house remodel, I have options for you. Interior design is absolutely a luxury service and it can also be more accessible than you may think.

Natural light really is that girl. This kitchen was insanely dark when I first walked this project and getting the light in was a main focus in all design decisions.

Colors, textures and materials really bring a space together. This mudroom was built into an existing massive garage that was relatively useless. I reimagined the space to be more useful for the my clients and their young kids. We added this mudroom that opened into their main entry/open kitchen to extend the livable space and allowed more visibility to keep track of the kids. There’s a half bath that was added under a stairway and an additional playroom/homework room off of the mudroom. Inspired by English cottages, I kept this space more detailed with colors and textures and wanted to feel like a room that’s been there forever.

Wallpaper is one of my most favorite things to use in a project. There is so much personality and creativity that can be added with this design choice. It’s an investment but always pays off.

What a view 🤩 this primary bathroom was an all white builder grade bathroom. We added wallpaper, color drenched and swapped out lighting, mirrors and hardware and it changed EVERYTHING. No major renovations and it’s probably one of my favorite bathrooms.

Hi 👋🏼 it’s been a minute since I introduced myself…

I’m Chelsey and I’m the owner/designer at Elliot Interiors. I’m based in Nashville but grew up in Lake Tahoe and spend a lot of time in NYC. I think my taste and aesthetic is molded by these three places significantly. I work on projects of all scopes and sizes and have fine tuned my processes over the last 6 years to work for a wide range of clients both virtually and in person.

I created my virtual service Design In A Day (on accident) in 2020 and since then it has evolved to a well oiled machine that’s so affordable and effective for clients. I have worked on over 120 spaces virtually since then.

Don’t be afraid to reach out about your project, though I spend most of my time on luxury renovations and new builds - I have services that can fit almost every budget and get your home feeling like you.
