Scraggly little kitchen table proof-of-concept for log cabin weave, which I never really understood, with plain weave bar, plus bottle of Franks Red Hot. Basically you have to warp alternating two colors, red purple red purple, then switch at some point, purple red purple red. Then you weave plain weave in alternating colors, red purple red purple, and switch at some point, purple red purple red. The alternating warp colors are a little fussy to do, I'm still futzing with the method. But I see it.

hey friends, something to beat the deep freeze blues: the beta version of a new patternmaking tool is up on our site! to try it, click on Pattern Pickers in the main nav menu on our website, I will attempt to put link in bio as well. it allows you to plan patterns and colors with the various Boss pattern bars, and it generates the number sequence for your pattern so you can weave it IRL. I will be very interested to hear your thoughts, suggestions, improvements! plain/twill/diamond is live with others to follow. and with great thanks to Ferenc Beleznay who first reached out with this code.
