This vintage museum exhibition artwork features one of Peter Max’s “mesmerizing collages from his ‘psychedelic surrealism’ period of the mid-1960s. During this period Max worked with historic photographs, mixing them with avant-garde fashion photographs, printed patterns and textures.”

This is an absolutely STUNNING Late Victorian / Belle Époque Style ornate cast metal desk piece with twin covered inkwells, griffin figures, paw feet, side handles, mask detail, pen rest and original pen. It features a beautiful old patina with age-related wear. (One inkwell lid is loose.)

This inkwell would make a striking display piece for a library, writing desk, office, or antique vignette.

Two traditional handmade knight marionettes. They are known as Pupi Siciliani, and were inspired by the historic Opera dei Pupi puppet theater of Sicily.
