This flax is for linen textiles. Not for eating. Will keep you posted.

As NFA slowly gears up for spring, I am offering 2 FREE worshops for Nauvoo locals.
1. How to handwash raw fleece. You will learn to wash 1lb of raw fleece and take it home with you. Kind of like washing a pet so come prepared.
2. How to plant flax for textile use. Planting needs to be done by April 22 so if you wish to come and give a hand, you can learn from my 15 years of growing flax and spinning it.

Spring is coming. Great time to put out nest building material and what better than sheep’s wool? Sheds water. Thermoregulates. If you do not have ready sheep wool you can brush out the dog or cat undercoat and set that out.
