Jayci had so much fun creating her Halloween bracelet from Chapter & Charm yesterday. These are great busy time activities for kids or a gift idea for boo baskets, Halloween treats, and those fancy little girls in your life.
Themed for each holiday, they come with assorted beads, charms and specialty beads and plenty of elastic string for a few bracelets.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a gardening post so here’s a little fun fact for yall!

99% of the fruit trees you buy are actually two trees grafted together. In the second picture where I’m pointing you can see a color change. That’s the grafting point. They keep the root ball of a disease resistant type of fruit tree that’s tough and graft on top a good tasting juicy variety. It’s perfectly fine BUT you see those new growths coming from the bottom half? It’s the root ball trying to make leaves. If you let them grow you’ll get inedible nasty fruit mixed with your good fruit so, make sure you trim them off!

Also, final thing. If your fruit tree dies in a freeze and starts coming back and you think YAY! It survived! Make sure it’s actually the top that made it or you’re going to be babying the growth from the bottom rootball that survived. Then after all your hard work and time when you finally get fruit it’ll be is nastiest stuff you’ve eaten.

Whooooo buddy! Things are looking good for the Farmhouse Fridge for our market tomorrow! Thicc Slice Desserts saw how quickly the last cheesecakes sold and started working hard to bring a batch for tomorrow for everyone and boy did she deliver! I’m going to use her words again because she’s wayyy better at describing them than me.

“First, we have the delicious Cookie Butter Cheesecake complete with a cinnamon cookie crust, cookie butter batter, and topped with melted cookie butter and cookie crumbs
Definitely one of my top favorites!”
“Next, we have a tangy Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake made with a graham cracker crust topped with fresh lemon juice & zest and fresh blueberry sauce batter.”
A classic plain cheesecake with a delicious strawberry filling on top
And last but not least
“The Chocolate Obsession slices are complete with a chocolate cookie crust, chocolate ganache batter, topped with chocolate ganache, & chocolate whipped cream frosting.”

Not only did Thicc Slice Desserts knock it out of the park but, Nana was able to get y’all some of her hummingbird bread and Pumpkin Spice bread made fresh to get you into those fall feelings as well!🎃
