Some tables are just meant to be. When Eileen Eileen Schoenhut and I first spoke it was a question of what to do, you standard tables just didn’t work. Well we figured it out, make it fit to its for forever home. The White Oak from a tree Rob HoffmanMillworks and I milled years ago was the perfect choice for this massive 7ft x 6ft top. No space lost and a perfect way to have you entire family hanging out, talking and eating good food together. Tables just don’t hold your plates they bring you together and in a world so busy we need that. I hope your family enjoys this for lifetimes ❤️

Whatcha all doing Saturday Aug 8th bout 6:30ish?… Ray NJ SCREENPRINTING and I thought it would be cool to get a bunch of local artists and vendors together for a good night supporting some locals❤️ From handmade pieces of my furniture to Rays old school dope screen printing with some good people and epic artists joining us, Alex Alexandra Vaga with her beautiful ceramics, Corey Corey Hudson with his awesome salvaged wood art, Mike michaelr0ssi some epic canvas art and we all know I love rocking some MERLE WORKS socks, Dallas is coming, it’s almost beanie time!
Some crafted beers from our friends Wild Air Beerworks, some deliciousAF Roasted Coffee Co, homemade sodas from my friends Boardwalk Bandit Sandwich & Soda and what kind of party doesn’t have hotdogs! unclejessieshotdogs yep and if ya wanna go vegan ya can!!! Megan and Rob, thank you both so much for letting me have some creative freedom on this one. When you mention the cabinets were white, I knew exactly which way to go. With this beautiful handpicked slab from and just a touch of Shide it set this off beautifully. Thank you both so much for letting me add a little bit of something to your kitchen renovation.

Judy, sometimes they hit differently. Thank you so much for asking me to make this crazy beautiful TV Console for you, it looks perfect in your home, it’s forever home. What started as rough sawn Walnut milled in Rumson by my good friends was turned into something next level epic. After years of both sit then kiln drying I took the slabs and surfaced them on MB200, the for the exact size ran them through the 20” wide planer. Ripping, cutting, joining and sanding to make the solid Walnut cabinet. Pour some beautiful Blue Blood epoxy to start the river doors. The end result one of my favorite and possibly one best. Judy thank you again I loved every minute working on this for you.

This world can be tough at times, there are so many people who wake up each day and don’t know what the future holds for them and sometimes just sometimes there is a tiny beautiful light that can shine where you are always welcome no matter who you are no matter what struggle you are facing. And is one of those places that makes that tougher world just a little better one meal at a time. What they do, how they care is so so needed in world where so many people struggle even to put food on the table. There is no better place for this table to be… for families to gather around, for strangers to sit next to one another and feel loved, and now they can gather around this table, eat, laugh share and know that they are seen. Thank you to for all that you do it’s just special. This table started as a tree sitting on the front lawn of the Asbury Park post office, coming back from a delivery years ago I saw them taking it down, immediately went over and said I’ll take it. With Sam from the Asbury Park hardware store we threw the logs on his forklift and drove it up Main Street to the shop, milled it with , kiln dried it with , surfaced the slabs on the then with the help from the guys I transformed this set of bookmatched Sweetgum slabs into this breathtaking river table. A final touch was Rich welding a custom base which I kept raw steel with a clear lacquer finish…. I just wanna say thank you to everyone who donated their time and materials and a bigger OMG thank you to for helping me get this all set … just DO GOOD the world needs it ❤️
