Well, as you can see, there’s no white/cream border. This was actually my first pick but then I thought it might be too much. So I auditioned a white/cream batik and hated it. So I auditioned this one and knew I’d chosen correctly to start with!

Got the black border on. Next step, buy and add a 5-6” white/cream batik border.
I am loving the way the black makes the colors pop.

Making a mostly batik Tumbler Quilt. Next step will be a narrow black border to set off these gorgeous batiks, followed by a 5-6” border, I think will be a cream colored batik. Then I’ll free motion quilt it. Then I think a very dark, close to black batik for the binding.
Will be a full, possibly queen size. Will last for years since batik fabrics are super quality!
