Okay y’all, I need your help with this one! 🤍

I can’t decide which direction to take this next one, so I figured I’d let YOU decide.

Option 1: Strip her all the way down and leave her light and natural
Option 2: Whitewash the body and leave the drawer fronts and bottom of the legs natural

Either way, she’ll be finished with these gorgeous old glass k***s and metal/wood caster wheels, and when she’s finished I’m going to offer her for just $50.

Beautiful vintage bow-front dresser refinished in Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue and finished with White Wax for a soft, velvety matte finish.

The original character of this piece was too good to cover up, so I leaned into it. The graceful curved front and uniquely shaped top are paired with driftwood-finished pole wrap on the drawer fronts, adding just enough texture while keeping the overall look timeless. Light champagne-gold antique hardware warms everything up beautifully.

She also has all the details you hope to find in an older piece: solid wood construction, dovetailed drawers, traditional paneled sides, original metal caster feet, and gorgeous curved detailing throughout.

This would be beautiful used as a dresser, oversized nightstand, entry piece, or statement storage piece in a bedroom or living space.

A beautiful antique buffet/sideboard refinished in Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue with a soft whitewashed finish that settles perfectly into all of those gorgeous carved details.

The combination of the muted blue-green finish and warm natural wood gives this piece such an old-world, collected feel while still being light enough to work beautifully in a farmhouse, cottage, French country, or traditional home.

And the details on this one are what make it special. The carved floral appliqués, curved paneled doors and sides, original-style brass hardware, antique keyhole, tiny casters, and that incredible decorative back with its raised shelf give you something beautiful to look at from every angle.

There is something so special about creating a piece that will become part of someone’s home.

Each name begins in my own handwriting before I stitch over every letter by hand with yarn to create a soft, textured heirloom piece that’s made just for one child.

No two are exactly alike, and that’s my favorite part.

The Restored Brush has never just been about one thing. 🤍

Over the years you’ve seen me hand letter signs, refinish heirloom furniture, paint kitchens and bathrooms, restore antique pieces, repair what others thought was beyond saving, experiment with textures and finishes, and chase every creative avenue that still felt true to who I am at the core.

Creativity has always been the heartbeat behind this business.
The medium just changes sometimes.

As the world ebbs and flows, I want to ebb and flow with it too… while still staying rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and creating meaningful pieces for people and their homes.

So with that being said… I’ve been dipping my toes into punch needle and fiber art lately and absolutely falling in love with it. 🪡✨
