Introducing History on Tap, a new lecture series at the Sophienburg Museum & Archives that brings local history, conversation, and community together.

Join us on October 21 from 6–8 PM for our first lecture, “Pre-Prohibition and Brewing in New Braunfels,” presented by author Travis Poling. Poling has written extensively about Texas b**r culture and alcohol history, and his talk will coincide with the grand opening of our new exhibit, A Funeral for Lady Liberty.

This exhibit explores the story of Prohibition and will remain on view until the Museum updates its exhibits next year.

Tickets are $25 for the general public, with a discounted rate available for Sophienburg Members. Space is limited, so make plans to join us for this special evening of history on tap.
