There’s something we love about a room that immediately tells you a little bit about the people who live there.

This space is a perfect example. From the soaring ceilings and warm wood beams to the collected pieces displayed throughout the room, this isn't a space designed to look like everyone else's home.
It feels personal.

This home theater started with a beautiful foundation and plenty of room for personality. Then came the fun part. 😉

We layered in custom details, warm wood tones, statement lighting, movie-inspired artwork, and that perfect pop of neon to transform this room into an experience—not just a place to watch a movie.

Behind the design: It takes a team! 🏠👥

You see the finished room.
The beautiful kitchen.
The perfectly placed artwork.
The finished paint.
The details that make everything feel just right.

But what you don't always see is everything that happens before that final reveal. 🛠️🌿

What Does “Full-Service Interior Design” Actually Mean?

We get this question all the time, and honestly, we think it’s worth explaining.

When you hire The Rooted Home for a full-service project, you aren't simply hiring someone to pick your paint colors and throw some pretty pillows on the sofa. 😉

We look at the whole picture.
🎨 The Concept: How should the space function? What should we change? What is possible?
📐 The Planning: Spatial layouts, floor plans, finishes, materials, and all those little decisions that have to happen before construction begins.
🔨 The Build: Through our trusted team and sister company, Redhawk Painting & Remodeling, we can help bring those plans to life.

🏠 A Little Home Away From Home

Back-to-school season has us thinking about all the spaces that become home—even when they’re only home for a season. 🎓✨

This dorm room was such a special project for The Rooted Home.

Our client came to us with a vision for her daughter’s freshman year at Texas Tech: a space that felt beautiful, personal, functional, and completely her own.

We took inspiration from her love of European design and paired it with the personality and spirit of Texas Tech to create a space that felt both familiar and brand new.

From the custom-designed shelving and wallpaper feature wall to the carefully selected textiles and finishing touches, every detail had a purpose.

And perhaps our favorite part?
This project wasn't just about designing a dorm room.
It was about creating a little home away from home for a young woman beginning an entirely new chapter. 🤍

There is something incredibly special about being
trusted to help create a space where someone will make new memories, find their independence, study late, laugh with friends, and hopefully feel a little more grounded when college life feels overwhelming.

And that's what we love about design—it's never just about how a room looks. It's about how a space feels and the life that happens inside it.

Wait for the reveal coming soon! Our clients moved in, we had an electrician cause a plumbing leak and we are finally finishing a punch list after 3 weeks of family fun activities planned within the home. It’s all so good! Remodels are hard, and this one was one of those projects that spiraled into me being there everyday. I don’t regret it one bit! Happy to be able to navigate each moment with experience, precision and genuine care. That’s what I do! All day everyday. 🙏🏼
