What you’re looking at is a “bone record”, also know as “bone music” or “ribs”🦴📀 During the 50s and 60s of the USSR, all western music was banned. Some crafty civilians found out that they were able to etch songs into discarded X-ray sheets, so that they could still listen to their favorite tunes! And yes, it was *extremely* illegal!!! The one we have here is an X-ray of the left ribcage and lung. Whether you’re an avid collector of records, you’re into oddities, or just love some slightly eerie Halloween decor, this is for you!!!
When you spend $50 or more at the Whistle Stop, write your name and phone number on a piece of paper and slip it into the raffle bucket. Multiple entries per person can be made!!! We will draw the winner on October 29th, and you can pick it up in store… just in time for Halloween!🎃🦴🧡👻☠️
