Take a look at the two routes displayed on the Shuttle Map and select your preferred pickup point. It's an excellent way to experience the Christkindlmarkt without the hassle of driving to each location.

So much to do — you’ll need a plan to keep it all straight. Starting Friday with the preview for the Monthly Market Auction and moving forward to the beginning of the Firefly Festival Friday evening, the weekend is chock full of fun activities (in addition to all the shopping at our great shops, meals and drinks at local establishments, tours and tourist attractions.). It’s all anchored by the 22nd Annual Golden Raintree Antiques Show. Throughout the weekend, you’ll find the U-Cut event at the Lavender farm, the Shindig (music and BBQ at The Barn), the Cruise-In, Pop-up Market at Petal & Patch, Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market presented by the Working Men’s Institute, the Friends of the WMI” Book Sale, the opening reception of the new exhibit at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art, music from the Mumford Hilltop Project at Sara’s, a whole slate of activities at the Atheneum, another round of Firefly Festival fun Saturday night — and more!

Antiques Appraisal Fair June 8 & 9, 2024 downtown New Harmony, Indiana during the New Harmony Antique Show.

Known to YouTuber viewers as "The Antique Nomad", George Higby travels coast to coast, and brings his 30 years of experience in the antique and vintage business to our event. He'll be here to see our finds and help us interpret their age, origins and other hallmarks of value, then give a verbal estimate of how much they might bring if put out for sale.

Attendees are invited to bring as many items as they wish to have appraised at the cost of five dollars per item; in the event of a large turnout, you may have to take turns after the first two items are seen. Mr. Higby will review any item you wish to bring except he is not a gemologist or art authenticator so please no art or gemstones.

The appraisal fair will take place inside the Ribeyre Gym Event Center both days of the antique show. Show hours are 9am-5pm Saturday and 9am-4pm Sunday. More info regarding New Harmony and other events happening this weekend at VisitNewHarmony.com.
