Building a palette is one of my favorite parts of the design process.

I love creating environments that feel a little unexpected, spaces that don’t exist. And I love working with textiles that have stood the test of time: patterns, materials, and textures that can feel classic, modern, playful and totally chic depending on how they are layered.

Nuvo Antique Reserve

Hand-knotted in northern Afghanistan by Turkmen women. The Agra design originates from the seventeenth century Mughal carpet from Agra, northern India.

Twenty-five years ago, our client bought this Turkish rug from us. Years later, their dog ate a chunk out of it. They lived with the damage for a while, covering that area with furniture, until it was the right time to bring it in for a proper cleaning, care and repair.

Our in-house weaver rebuilt the missing section by hand, matching the structure, color, pile height, and feeling of the original rug.

A good rug is not disposable. It can be cared for, repaired, and returned to life.
