👻 Happy Halloween from Riverton!

Some things are supposed to be scary.
Your kitchen storage? Not one of them. 😂

If opening that cabinet feels like unleashing a monster, it might be time for a little renovation magic.

Custom cabinetry can turn kitchen chaos into a space that actually works for you.

Serving Illinois homeowners with a little less fright and a lot more function. 🎃

Shoes by the door? Gone.

Backpacks on the floor? Gone.

Coats piled on a chair? Absolutely not. 😂

A custom mudroom can turn that chaotic little entryway into one of the hardest-working spaces in your home.

The best kitchens aren’t just beautiful.
They make you pause when you walk in.

They make morning coffee feel a little better.
They make you want to gather, linger, and make memories.

Beauty matters. So does how you feel in the space.

Thinking about going dark with your kitchen cabinets?

Here’s the thing: dark cabinets can make a kitchen feel incredibly warm, dramatic, and sophisticated. You just have to balance them properly.

A few things to consider:

🖤 Natural light: The more sunlight your kitchen gets, the easier it is to pull off deeper cabinet colors.
🤍 Contrast: Light countertops, backsplashes, or walls can keep the room from feeling heavy.
💡 Lighting: Under-cabinet lighting can make a BIG difference once the sun goes down.
🌿 Texture: Wood grain, natural stone, and mixed materials can keep a dark kitchen from feeling flat.

And no — you don't have to choose between a bright kitchen and a dramatic one.
You can have both.

If you're dreaming about a kitchen remodel in Illinois, let's design one that actually fits your home.

Instead of squeezing a standard cabinet into the space and calling it good, we can design around your actual home.

That means fewer awkward gaps.
More usable storage.

And a finished space that feels like it was always supposed to be there.
Because your home is unique.

Your cabinets should be, too.

Dreaming about what you could do with that space?

Not just a box that showed up on a truck.

Something made with pride, right here in Illinois.

Your kitchen has a job to do.

It needs to survive busy mornings, dinner disasters, grocery hauls, homework, holidays, and that one drawer everyone fights over. 😂

That’s why we design around how you actually live — not just what looks good in a showroom.

Beautiful is important.
Functional is non-negotiable.

Ready for a kitchen that can keep up?

Your home is missing a bar and honestly it shows. 🥃

Not a cart. Not a corner with bottles on it. A real one. Built in. Lit up. The kind that makes guests walk in and immediately forget they were only stopping by for an hour.

Riverton builds custom bars that fit your exact space, your exact style, and your exact definition of a good Friday night.

If your countertop is starting to look like an appliance showroom… 😂

Better cabinet design can give your everyday appliances a home without sacrificing your precious prep space.

More counter space. Less clutter. More room to actually cook.
