This is the 1910 wedding dress I have been restoring. There were several holes and rips in it,over 50, that I repaired with patches on the inside. I also had several large areas of lace missing and torn that I had to replicate with a needle and thread. It was a very time consuming job but very gratifying when it was done.

subject for the prints are from photos I have taken or collected over the years. I draw the immages on transfer paper, put the immage on the block, then carve the block in reversse of the original drawing. when I ink up the block it prints out like the original drawing, Fun process

Rocks were collected from our own creek, then slices with a diamond rock saw blade. The barn refrences are from photos of barns I have taken over the summer and fall.

I am planning on going to Shepherds Harvest at Lake Elmo in May. It is on Mothers Day week-end. I will have the Swllow Casein Knitting needles with me for those that love them.
