Hey guys! I know I kind of went MIA during Mardi Gras and for that I apologize. I got a new job that took literally all my time. Since then I got a couple custom orders that I’ve been working on and wanted to show y’all! I’m always available for custom orders but they are taking me a much longer time to complete these days due to having no free time 😓 BUT having said all that, I’m still here and welcome to all the new followers!!

Was about to just throw away some of the 1st flowers I’ve ever made today. I felt like this would be a perfect opportunity to A- show y’all what is expected by “weather resistant” and B- see if I can re-seal and bring them back to life.
So these two flowers were both made in 2021 and lived on a porch fence for most of their life. There was some cover from direct elements but I’ll also say, I purposely kept these out for hurricane Ida to see how they did. I feel like they did ok considering and they continued to live outside and never fully fell apart (full disclosure, some did fully die but they weren’t made with the same care). These stress fractures or cracks are common and sometimes even happen when I’m first making the flower. It’s something I’m forever trying to get better at. ANYWAY, I hope this long post was helpful and I’ll keep y’all updated on the outcome. I honestly am not a fan of these flowers anyway so it will be fun to experiment on! Hope everyone is ready for spring and if you want some pretty spring flowers don’t hesitate to reach out!
