Starting this fall, we're excited to offer the chance to bring some of this work home to your dining room and kitchen through a series of limited preorder runs. We’re kicking things off with gumbo bowls from Mosquito Supper Club!

If you’ve recently dined with our friends at a Cajun restaurant in New Orleans, LA serving grandma cuisine., you may have enjoyed their work on some of ours. We created a set of refined shapes for Melissa Martin and her team that highlight the remarkable ability of hand-made ceramics to be simultaneously delicate and durable.

Throughout the month of August, we will be taking orders for sets (options for pairs or sets of four bowls available) of gumbo bowls just like the ones we made for Mosquito Supper Club. Production will be complete in time for early-fall shipping and pick-up. Don’t miss out! Last day to place orders is August 31st

We've got a new mosaic panel hanging in the studio!

Our previous panels were assembled from separately molded tiles, but this one comes from a single slab! I measured and sketched the design onto the clay, cut it into pieces, and carved each one individually before glazing and reassembling the final piece as you see it here.

It's a slower and more methodical process than our molded mosaic pieces, but the result is a puzzle-like composition where even the negative space is a shape to be considered.

Sure had a lot of fun with this one, more to come!

Just finished a nice run of satin red mugs! By popular demand we're bringing this glaze back into the rotation, so expect to see more of it in the near future!

They're available in our studio on OakStreetNOLA, and will be up on our website soon.

We are also excited to announce that you can find a selection of these at the Ogden Museum Store, along with other tableware items and decorative tile panels. We’re proud to be working with the Ogden, and look forward to more collaborations to come!

Our next round of classes is open!

In addition to our usual wheel throwing classes, we've added two morning hand building sessions! Hand building is a great way to introduce yourself to clay, or expand your existing skills.

These sessions meet once per week for 5 weeks, plenty of time to start and finish several pieces which you will be able to take home at the end of your class. All firings and materials are included in your class fee!

If you’ve recently enjoyed a meal at a Cajun restaurant in New Orleans, LA serving grandma cuisine., you may have been served with some of the pieces we designed for them. We created a set of refined shapes to accompany their thoughtfully curated dining experience. As delicate as possible without being too fragile. Custom forms and colors were developed in direct collaboration with owner Melissa Martin, including the side dishes and gumbo bowl pictured here.

The family-style atmosphere at Mosquito Supper Club cultivates a rich feeling of local community that we are proud to be a part of.

We've got a new batch of mugs here in the studio and on our website! This is a new shape we're excited about, it's a little lower and wider than our other forms with a slightly angled bulbous profile.

Yellow and pink are back by popular request! And we've also included two new finishes we've been having a lot of fun with recently. One is a variegated icy blue, and the other is a glossy black with subtle purple streaking.
