Someone called me from Bend, Oregon yesterday as I was driving home from Banana Manor. We had a long chat about our Free Shipping, Return Policy, etc.. but in the name of efficiency and being able to see and touch the rugs, he deduced he is going to fly to New Orleans to make his rug selections.

I explained to him that we have lots of people that fly or drive in to select rugs and that it makes for a great excuse to spend a couple of days in New Orleans. Plus a rug shopping experience like no other.

Please Note: If we send the Banana Manor Private Jet to pick you up, it is BYOB until you arrive. Then the Margs, Mimosas & French 75’s will flow like oil thru The Strait of Hormuz.
Back when it used to flow that is.

Superstar Interior Designer knocked it out of the park with not only the Two-Headed Snake Stairwell Runner we created from scratch together, but also the entire space.
WOW. What a beautiful interior.

Kudos to third degree black belt stairwell runner installer extraordinaire for letting us know exactly what to produce and for the masterful install.

When Where Y’At Magazine reached out to me last year about Banana Manor being nominated for a category in their “Best of the Big Easy Issue”, I assumed it was for “Best Rug Store”. I was wrong.

I discovered they did not have a “Best Rug Store” category, but instead had created a category for our unique approach to marketing. Yes, we won the award for the “Best Sexually Active Billboard”.

But this year they added a category for “Best Rug Store”.
