When our client first reached out, he wasn’t just looking to update his house.
As a father of two getting ready to remarry, he was starting a new chapter. He wanted a home that felt ready for it too. A place where everyone could gather, slow down, and make new memories together.
The kitchen was the biggest challenge. It felt dark, cramped, and cut off from the breakfast nook, so we removed the wall between them and opened everything up. We added more seating around the island because that’s where his kids naturally wanted to hang out. Those little details matter just as much as the finishes.
From there, every room became a chance to make the home feel lighter and more welcoming. We rebuilt the fireplace in stone, brought in a statement chandelier, added color to the dining room, and transformed the once-dark foyer into an entry that finally felt warm and inviting.
By the end, it wasn’t just a more beautiful house. It felt like a home that matched the life waiting for it. 🤍
