🍂 Fall Color Palette No. 2: Earthy & Organic

When you think about the colors of fall, sometimes the best inspiration isn't found in the seasonal décor aisle. It's found right outside your window.

That's what makes an earthy and organic color palette so beautiful.

Think 𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘀, 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, and 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻. These colors bring the warmth of nature indoors and create a space that feels grounded.

The beauty of this palette is that it doesn't have to feel overly seasonal. Natural materials, greenery, warm woods, and earthy tones can already be part of your home. For fall, you're simply layering them in a way that feels a little richer.

🍂 Before you buy another piece of fall décor, start with what you already have.

It’s easy to walk into a store, see all the new seasonal décor, and start adding things to your cart.

But before you shop, look at your room first.

What colors are already there? What pieces aren't changing? And most importantly, how do you want the room to feel this season?

Once you know that, decorating becomes a lot easier.

Choose a color palette that works with your home, then bring in small changes through pillow covers, throws, stems, texture, candles, and accessories.

You don't have to completely redecorate your home every time the season changes. Sometimes a few thoughtful changes are all you need.

Because at the end of the day, your home should reflect your style first and the season second.

Pumpkins have officially been relieved of duty. 😂🍂

I love fall décor, but I also believe your home can embrace the season without looking like the seasonal aisle of your favorite store.

Seasonal styling doesn’t always have to be literal.
Sometimes it’s about taking what you love about the season, the warmth and richness. then interpreting it in a way that still feels like your home.

And if pumpkins happen to be your thing? Bring on the pumpkins! This isn’t about decorating rules. It’s about remembering that there’s more than one way to welcome a new season into your space.

Because your home should reflect your style first and the season second.

A great way to transition your home into a new season is to start with how you want the space to feel. Then choose colors that help create that feeling.

Just because a color, finish, furniture style, or décor piece is everywhere right now doesn’t mean it deserves a place in your space.

Before bringing a trend home, ask yourself:

Does this actually fit my style?
Will I still love it when I stop seeing it everywhere?
Does it work with what I already own?

Your home doesn’t have to keep up with every trend to feel current or beautifully designed.

Take the inspiration. Leave what doesn’t feel like you.

The best-designed homes aren’t a reflection of what’s trending, they’re a reflection of the people who live there.
