With my sweet Momma & Daddy having so many problems lately, it's been SUCH a struggle to want to put my work out there. It's always a push. But my parents are an inspiration to keep pushing no matter how scared you are or how difficult things are to come. Rust Magnolias is having their wonderful Trade Days, and this is just a small glimpse of what I got dropped off this morning. A small thanks to the local community for showing up in prayer and at the fun events to support local families 🙏

Fabric found at Transformations Thrift in Famerville, and doing some looking, I'm pretty confident that it's vintage. So, what I have is what I have! There won't be extras of these!!

Science collection is out! I'll be placing this FULL alphabet of letters at the Village Collective today after helping out with a book fair 🥰 What a perfect opportunity to post put these out into the world!

Praying today over teachers, students, those willing to learn and thise struggling to do the same; I have been in that boat before 🥹 We are some thankful for our child's staff members for they all lead her with kindness to learn what she needs to! This fun fabric from Quiltaroos really captures the cool things school is about! I think my favorite item to spot is the milk carton 🤭

Lately, my heart is full of a heavy kind of gratitude...

​It’s heavy because of the helplessness one cam feel for our active service members, our veterans, and their families. Even those who served, transitioned to civilian life, and then had their whole world shattered by a medical emergency or health crisis... Seeing this touch my own family through my dad makes it hit so close to home. So many are carrying invisible battles every single day 😭

​Lord, watch over, protect, and strengthen our military and their families. Bring our active troops home safely. For the veterans who are already home, we pray over their physical health, their minds, and their hearts. Bring them comfort, strength, and total healing. Amen. 🙏✨

​This Marine Corps piece is a special nod! Included here are some of the behind-the-scenes moments on each hat. It was a true honor to craft a batch of three of these custom "GREER" trucker hats recently. Seeing multiple orders of the same design is always such a humbling feeling, and a reminder of the respect we carry for those who serve. Greer, you must carry a special spirit!! Erasing the old to make space for the good. ✏️✨

With a fresh school season starting, I would use a giant eraser right now to erase self-doubt for our kids as they try new things, stress and burnout for our teachers and staff, heavy thoughts, comparison, and the negative energies that stir in the halls.

Instead, here’s to filling these rooms with patience, kindness, bright moments, and plenty of room to grow (and make mistakes!)

Sending so much love and big prayers out to all the students, educators, and parents stepping into this school year. May your days be steady, your hearts light, and your pencils sharp! 💛
