We are so delighted to see our New Orleans home in the latest . Our 200 year-old creole cottage is filled with a mix of French and American antiques - with a touch of Sicily, of course - all to celebrate the cultural mix of New Orleans. Swipe to see some of the Sud pieces: Piscitello testa di moro and lamp, papier mache busts by Mark Gagnon, palm trees by La Goiosa Ceramiche, as well as antique Sicilian ceramics and artwork. Exquisite and refined suite of late 19th Century Sicilian neoclassical furniture. Their Palazzo must have been molto elegante. Includes settee, two armchairs, a center table and mirror, all painted in the same green and gray colors and newly reupholstered.

A new discovery in the heart of Modica! A beautiful room off the courtyard of the City Hall that is being restored. The Palazzo San Domenico and adjacent church were built in 1460s and partially rebuilt in the 1760s after earthquake in 1613, but survived the big earthquake of 1693 that destroyed so much in the Val di Noto. After the unification of Italy the convent has been the Modica City Hall since 1869. How will this lovely space be used?

Spectacular octopus by Ceramiche Antonino Piscitello from our latest shipment. Mediterranean Sea creatures feature prominently in the sculptures of Piscitello, whether they decorate the crowns of Sicilian kings and queens or the appear as the bounty of a matrangela. This polpo is a singular 8-legged star.
