I teach these habits to athletes because they help them perform better, recover better, and feel better.

But… you don’t have to be an athlete to need those same things.

You need sleep.
You need consistent fuel.
You need hydration.
You need balanced meals.
You need enough nutrients to support everything you’re asking your body to do.

Whether you’re training for a competition, heading to the gym after work, chasing your kids around all day, or just trying to feel better in your everyday life — your body still needs to be fueled and taken care of.

These are some of the simple habits I come back to with my athletes — and the same ones I think we ALL can benefit from.

Which one makes the biggest difference for you??

5 specific things I did to gain muscle and lose fat after feeling stuck👇

When you want to create lasting change, you can’t keep doing the same old things and expect different results!

Here are the habits that I noticed made the biggest difference:

1️⃣ No skipping meals
I used to go long stretches without eating and wonder why I felt tired and struggled with cravings later in the day. Eating consistently gave me better energy, better workouts & allowed me to better manage portion sizes

2️⃣ Protein at every meal
Helped support & maintain muscle growth while keeping me full and satisfied between meals. Instead of chasing a protein goal perfectly, I made sure to including a quality protein source in each meal/snack I ate.

3️⃣ Working out consistently
I stopped trying to burn as many calories as possible and focused on mixing up my workouts, and I actually started to enjoy working out again

4️⃣ Prioritized sleep
This is where recovery really happens. Without quality sleep, nothing you do nutritionally / activity wise will matter. I was neglecting my sleep, and truly this was the last piece of the puzzle for me.

5️⃣ Planned ahead
I drafted out meal times each week. I figured out meal combinations I will have to include a protein, carb, & color. This was game changer. Without a plan or having meals (somewhat) prepared… How did I ever think I’d figure it out?

OVERALL, consistency is key!!!

Have you tried any of these?? If you need a kickstart on planning ahead…

“I don’t even know where to start.”

I hear this ALL the time.

And my answer is almost always: you don’t need to do more. You need to simplify.

Pick one thing to focus on.
Build a habit around it.
Get consistent.
Then build from there.

You don’t need another plan that you can only follow for 3 weeks. You need to learn how to make nutrition work for your actual life, and all the things that come your way — and that’s exactly what I help women do.

If you’re trying to “start over”, let’s chat. DM me “START” to get info and added to the September books!

RD confession: I actually don’t love cooking 🤷🏼‍♀️

Honestly I prefer quick, balanced meals that take minimal effort

The truth is, you don’t need meals to be fancy to be healthy. Most of my dinners are simple, 30 minutes or less, and built around protein + carbs + color + healthy fats.

That’s exactly what I help athletes and people who live busy lives do too —
Create easy meals (not boring) that support energy, hormones, workouts, and real-life schedules… without spending hours in the kitchen.

The guide in my bio helps you do exactly this —
how to choose foods when building a balanced plate so meals are simple and easy to prep ahead.

Click the link in my bio to get a copy of it, or comment “FUEL” and I’ll send it to you ✨

Anyone else dreads spending hours in the kitchen for one new recipe? ⬇️

like NOW WHAT?

I spent so many years learning how to train, recover, and fuel for performance… only to realize those habits don’t have to end when sports do.

Your goals may change, but your nutrition should change with them.

If you’re in your post-sports era and trying to figure out how to eat for this version of you, that’s exactly what I can help with.

DM me “FUEL” and let’s chat.

What works for her won’t work for you!

Her calorie needs don’t match yours.
Her workout schedule isn’t yours.
Her goals aren’t yours.
Her lifestyle isn’t yours.

So why are you following her nutrition plan?

The right nutrition plan should fit your schedule, your goals, your training, your preferences + your life.

You don’t need another generic meal plan.
You need a strategy that actually makes sense for you. Because what works for you is what ends up sticking.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to feeling, fueling, and performing your best… & that is why everything I do is made for YOU.

DM me “girl” to build what works for you.

“I have 10 minutes and am starving”

go-to meals when your short on time, running between things, or just don’t feel like cooking.

Have these items in hand or prepped ahead of time. The goal = easy, balanced + realistic enough to actually do consistently.

If it’s been 4+ hours since your last meal, it’s probably time for a snack.

The goal isn’t to just grab something—build a balanced snack:
✔️ Protein to keep you full
✔️ Carbs for energy
✔️ Healthy fats

Easy snack ideas:
• Greek yogurt + berries + chia seeds
• Apple + peanut butter + Greek yogurt
• Cottage cheese + fruit
• Turkey roll-ups + pretzels
• Protein shake + banana + almonds
• Cheese stick + grapes
• Chocolate milk + berries
• Kefir + Walnuts
• Sourdough + cottage cheese + Carrots

Balanced snacks help keep your energy and support hormone health by preventing long gaps without fuel — All make it easier to feel in control at your next meal.

Because here’s the thing… if you skip that afternoon snack, your body is pretty good at making up for it later with those “eat everything in the pantry” cravings at night. 😅

Don’t overthink it. Pair 2–3 foods together, fuel your body, and keep moving.

Save this for the next time you have an early lunch, and know it’ll be a while until dinner ✨
