5 specific things I did to gain muscle and lose fat after feeling stuck in my body👇

When you want to create lasting change in your life, you can’t keep doing the same old things and expect different results!

Here are the habits that I noticed made the biggest difference:

1️⃣ No skipping meals

I used to go long stretches without eating and wonder why I felt tired and struggled with cravings later in the day. Eating consistently gave me better energy, better workouts & allowed me to better manage portion sizes

2️⃣ Protein at every meal

Helped support & maintain muscle growth while keeping me full and satisfied between meals. Instead of chasing a protein goal perfectly, I made sure to including a quality protein source in each meal/snack I ate.

3️⃣ Working out consistently

I stopped trying to burn as many calories as possible and focused on mixing up my workouts, and I actually started to enjoy working out again

4️⃣ Prioritized sleep

This is where recovery really happens. Without quality sleep, nothing you do nutritionally / activity wise will matter. I was neglecting my sleep, and truly this was the last piece of the puzzle for me.

5️⃣ Planned ahead

I drafted out meal times each week. I figured out meal combinations I will have to include a protein, carb, & color. This was game changer. Without a plan or having meals (somewhat) prepared… How did I ever think I’d figure it out?

OVERALL, consistency is key!!!

These habits helped me reach my goal and continue to make it easy to maintain - and they can for YOU too!!

I felt uncomfortable in my body, I was gaining weight, and honestly couldn’t figure out why. I was still active. I was still trying to eat “healthy.”

But looking back, my biggest mistake wasn’t eating too much.

I lost the structure that I have had for years as an athlete.

Once I created a routine that actually fit my life, everything changed. Little by little, I felt better, had more energy, and finally felt like myself again.

Turns out, I didn’t need another diet…Just a routine and real structure.

Anyone else feel like they had nutrition figured out but had to completely relearn it as an adult? 🙋🏼‍♀️

A year ago I would’ve crashed by Saturday afternoon 😅
Now I’m the one with energy left at the end of the weekend. The difference? I created habits that LAST, and now I have each client do the same.

Why do so many retired athletes struggle after sports? 👇
