Last night, Wicks NOLA had the pleasure of joining Beth Israel Synagogue in Metairie for a candle-making experience during their holiday celebration.

Our classes usually feature container candles, but this group requested something special: pillar candles with two wicks. And we made it happen!

The evening began with a beautiful feast in the sukkah they had built. It was such a meaningful experience to share in their hospitality and learn about the Jewish traditions, the holiday, and the significance of the candles we were creating.

One of my favorite parts of this business is how it connects me with different people, cultures, and traditions. Last night, I got to teach and learn and I left with a full heart.

Thank you, Beth Israel, for welcoming me and trusting Wicks NOLA to bring this special experience to life.
