Over the course of the 7 years I have been running The Coloured Pencil Shop, I have accumulated a lot of pencils that I do not deem to be 100% perfect - I’m very fussy about what I send to you as I just want you all to have the best quality. This might be because the point has been broken off, or the paintwork isn’t perfect. I have been using these pencils in my own art over the years as the cores are usually still fine as the issue is mostly aesthetic, but it’s got to the point where there are just too many for me to get through. It will be a no returns policy. I just want to gauge interest as it will take many hours to do all the website work. Please let me know what you think.

Did Vincent paint this work outside, at the beach? Absolutely! 📝In a letter to his brother Theo, Vincent wrote: ‘The wind was so strong that I could barely stay on my feet and barely see through the clouds of sand’. We know that he was actually working on this stormy day, as there are lots of grains of sand in the paint.
