Well, well . . . trying something new, can you imagine? I did my normal botanical tissue print, actually one that I did last fall, and decided to try using the same tissue on a new set of botanicals that I was working on this year! So, it’s one tissue with two prints!! I enhanced with some metallic on the leaves in the middle, and I added some grasses on the edges using fluid acrylics. The first picture is of the entire print, and the last three are close ups of some of the details. The tissue is adhered to a canvas and framed in brown wood! Happy Monday!

BIG NEWS!!! LJFox Art now has a web site!!! Share the news with your friends!!! I hope you will take the time to visit it, let us know what you think!!! I would encourage everyone to sign up for our newsletter, which will be sent around once/month, just letting you know what is new on the site, and giving you the first opportunity to view new original offerings, as well as other fun items we decide to feature!!! A big shout out goes to Trisha for maneuvering this for me, and also Heather for all her help. It does take a team at this point . . . and at this age!!! ALSO, mark your calendars!!! GNOMEMADE MARKET is Friday and Saturday, November 6th and 7th,2026. I will have all of my LJFox Art in one location this year, on the second floor of The Grand Center for Arts and Culture, 210 North Minnesota Street, New Ulm. Not to worry . . . I will keep reminding you!!! Enjoy your weekend!!!

The two metallic colors I used in this card are called Salmon Run (rusty grasses), and Lake Superior (base of the blue flowers)!! I love Beam Paints from Canada!!! Their metallic colors are just so subtle, I really enjoy using them!! Have a great weekend!!!
